I spoke to DC restaurateurs for District Fray about how local restaurants might make it through the 2020/2021 winter with all the Covid dining restrictions in place. It should come as no surprise to hear that the situation is dire, even for the most established businesses. As veteran restaurant owner Jackie Greenbaum (pictured above) put it: “We feel strongly enough about our business that we want to try, but we may be crippled by debt next year and beyond in a way which may compromise our eventual survival.”
